Located in Montreal's Tétreauville district, École Philippe-Labarre welcomes students from preschool to grade 6. It has the distinction of being the only CSSDM school to be a member of the Réseau québécois des écoles entrepreneuriales et environnementales, a network of over a hundred primary schools across Quebec.
As part of this project, we completely replaced the school's doors and windows, as well as repairing the masonry on the four facades of the school's historic section. This work required us to work under specific conditions related to the presence of asbestos and silica.
The masonry work included repointing, installing new sealants, reconstituting and consolidating the brick cladding, as well as rebuilding the latter to ensure the building's longevity and safety.
